80's Auditorium

In the 80's, music was amazingly diverse and creative, rather than formulaic and generic.

In the 80's, music was an exercise in fun rather than a pessimistic lyrical onslaught about topics such as the drudgery of life and/or hatred of society.

In the 80's, Michael Jackson was actually cool!

Call it cheesy, call it fluff… but in the 80's music was meant to be enjoyed! It possessed an addictive charm that lives on to this day, unlike the forgettable bands and tunes that are cranked out by music companies today. The words of a deluded 80's fanatic? No!

Nearly every significant city has one or more radio stations dedicated to music of the 80's. The introduction of the video game Grand Theft Auto: Vice City also sent kids running to music stores all over the nation as they sought out the memorable 80's tunes that graced the game's soundtrack by bands such as A Flock of Seagulls and Journey. Despite the low point music has currently reached, the 80's lives on even today.

If you grew up in the 80's you were able to enjoy the seductive allure of synthesizers in all their glory, whether it be on New Wave pop songs or on gorgeous love songs. You were also able to pump your fist in the air as you surrounded yourself with the sounds of power ballads, hair metal and thrash. And if you preferred, you were able to enjoy old-school rap that focused on partying and positivity rather than vulgar displays of braggadocio or "booty" shaking.

Yep, the 80's had something for everyone, and whether you're looking to rediscover old favorites or find new ones, 80's Reborn will serve as your guide on your musical journey.
